My thread disappeared

I started a thread several days ago - nothing controversial. I'd had an abnormal smear result and wanted some advice. I read some replies at work and it hadn't descended into chaos at all, just nice helpful, supportive replies. I couldn't reply at work so logged on in the evening, and it had gone. Any ideas? It's not even appearing in my personal stats

Maybe you were given medical advice and it got deleted? I remember the thread. Hope you're a bit less worried now! Good luck.

If you were asking for medical opinions it's against the rules which is probably why it was deleted x

Ah, I see. Would I not have been notified, would it just have been deleted? I wasn't given medical advice per se, just support and accounts from people who'd been through the same thing. To anyone who had replied, thank you, it's always nice to know you're not on your own. Got my colposcopy appt for a week on Friday, and trying to stay calm xx

Threads are deleted all the time. People are seldom told why a specific thread is deleted...it's just not practical MSE resource wise to do so.
