So we're trying to plan things for our newborn, so i'm tasked with looking at prams etc.
Seen the Bugaboo Bee Plus and the Mamas And Papas Sola, are these good for newborns then right the way through the early years, we will be using the Maxi-Cosi Car Seat System as well.
Anyone got either of these and using them now?

I don't what exact one my sister has but she has a Bugaboo and all the stuff that goes with it and loves it. She's been using it for my neice since birth (she's 3 months now) with no issues at all. What's particularly good about the Bugaboo she is is you can get snow wheels for it which as she lives in Sweden is ideal!!0

I was wondering the same as you, but eventually decided on the Sola. I was told the Bee is really only suitable for around town, and I need ours to cope up at the rugby club, plus if we go out for walks, so the Sola is ordered (waiting until we've space in the house for it!) We also have the Maxi cosi car seat which seems to clip on easily with the adaptors.
I have heard nothing but praise for the Sola - it has a great review on Which, and some good reviews on M&P website. It is suitable for newborns, however I bought the carrycot second hand (plus new mattress) as I quite fancy having that for when bubs is very small. I was told that usually baby wants out of this soon so didn't see the point paying full price!
When I picked up the carrycot the lady had the Sola and couldn't praise it enough, said it even coped well in the snow!
Would be interested in opinions if anyone has / has used the Sola so I'll keep an eye on this thread0 -
I too have purchased a Sola but haven't used it yet so am hoping it will be more than suitable - all the reviews I've read have been good.0

Did initially think Sola was the way to go, then read more reviews about Bee Plus, however the comment about it been more suite for aroun town has made me think, also if we got second hand carrycot it would save u a lot of money, yeah think the Sola is the way to go, did have a play with both and think the Sola just popped it seemed more stable....
Sola it is then thanks all0 -
I am a bit of a buggy addict and had a bugaboo bee for around 2 years and loved it! Perfect from newborn as it lies flat and can be used right up until your toddler is walking. Great suspension on it , so it's a lovely smooth ride. Yes , it's not really an off-roader but I have used it on sand , grass and rough gravel and we never got stuck! It's so light too and looks very different to many of the other boring buggies! You can also get some great custom hoods and baby nests/footmuffs too , I had some great covers on mine!0

I bought the Sola 6 weeks ago to replace my pliko pramette and I love it. If I had known that it was compatible with the maxi-cosi pebble car seat this is the pram I would have chosen originally. My 7 month old little boy is so comfortable and relaxed in it.
It is very easy to fold and unfold and faces both ways,it has a lie flat option a reasonable sized basket and the seat is easily attached and detached by pressing 2 simple side clips to remove it from the frame.I chose the colour truffle which is a deep plummy brown with a funky tree print but there is a green and orchid option aswell as the new denim version and matching footmuffs are available too.If you have a taller partner then the handle can be adjusted to suit and the hood is a good size to protect baby from rain or sun.It fits perfectly in a small boots aswell. It's just so practical and easy for me to use and a good price too.hthLove can tame the wildest0
