Reply to PM not sending?

I am trying to reply to a PM and it doesn't seem to be sending.

It types out fine but once I hit reply, It just goes straight back to the original message from the sender.....

I presume that you are using the "Quick Reply" box under the message to type your reply?

If so, then use the "Submit Message" button underneath to send the message.

The "Reply" button when clicked takes you a new screen to compose your reply, so yes, it would wipe what you have typed.

  • I tried both quick reply and the other quite a few times to no avail. It is still not sending. Could it be that the recipients mailbox is full?

I think it would actually tell you if the recipients inbox was full.

Have yo checked that your out box (or is that sent items) is not full

  • Yes, I've checked. I only have 2 PM's in my inbox and no sent items.

    Confused :P

Lol! I hope not. It was just from an Asda representative asking for my order number to resolve an ongoing issue, nothing sinister.

Why send me a PM then block me? Makes no sense.

I thought company reps couldn't send and receive PMs? Although they have obviously managed to send you one somehow?
Were they definitely an official rep? if not maybe they have been banned between sending you the PM and you trying to reply?

If they have disabled PMs, then you'll get a message telling you that.

If they have you on 'ignore', then the message still appears to send and goes in the sent message folder. Just doesn't get to the person ignoring you.

    I think?

    Official ones can't.

Adsa isn't on the "companies with permission" to post list either.

So at the very least this supposed Asda employee is breaking the rules.
