What exactly are you trying to switch from iPhone to Android? Phone numbers? Text messages? Application data? Photos? Video? Audio?
Most phones have settings to save Phone Numbers and text messages to the Sim Card.
Photos, Video and Audio are easily transferred from your iPhone to your computer via USB, and then copied down onto your new Android handset in the same manner.0 -
Yes good question, the obvious !!
Its mainly just the sms, the rest I can transfer myself quite easily. But I do not want to lose the sms history at all..
thank you0 -

Does the iPhone not have an option to save the Text Messages to the Sim Card?
Alternative Ideas:
1. If you have two Sims, you could forward your texts to yourself.
2. You could look for an App on the Appstore that saves Text Messages to a text file/word document, and transfer this to the new handset.
3. Try bluetoothing the Text Messages.
In terms of 'finding Software', the best you can hope for is to find Software on the Apple phone that can transfer the data from your Text Messages into a generic form, i.e. a text file, Word Processor Document, or XML file. Then, on the Android phone, find some software that can consume this data.
You probably won't find Software matching each side because the two handsets run on completely different Operating Systems, and have different types of Compiler for the Software.
Hope this helps.0 -
Just found this application that will transfer iPhone SMS to a PC.

That's half the job done. Now you need some way of copying them to the Android handset. Don't know if that is simple or not.
