In the fortunate position of having another chunk to stash away on Wednesday - (PCLS) but this time will need instant access.
Remember reading a load of horror stories about the admin of the Post Office account when it first came out - what are things like now - anybody care to share more recent experiences?

I opened one before Christmas and haven't had any problems with it, unlike some other posters. The process is a bit clunky and you get a lot of correspondence from them in the early stages. If you go for it make sure you make a note of the Sort Code and Account Number they give you, as you can use that for transfers in which isn't made very clear. It doesn't use faster payments, but I'm finding that a transfer from Barclays Internet Banking takes 2 days, e.g. institute on a Monday morning and it's showing in the P.O. Account by Weds. morning.0
