  • Every time I switch on TV and Martins face pops up he looks like he has lost a button on his shirt, too much chest hair Martin! Not a good look on Daybreak when I haven't had my brekkie yet. Never mind the shoes - start a bit higher up!

Just don't wear them when you go to the palace to see the Queen when you get your knighthood. ;)

Those are some vile looking shoes, and that is without seeing the bottom. They do not go with your jeans at all, please burn them at the first opportunity you get.

Nice pension/annuity faux pas on TV this morning by the way. People look at you as the money expert Martin, so if you're going to comment on pensions at least get the basics right. It's no wonder people are so often misinformed.

    read Martin'a blog, brianrhill
    he explains it all ...

    devishly of course .... :rotfl:

Even worse, those don't look too well made... Glued soles oh dear. Your £35 would have been better spent buying a pair of welted shoes second hand and getting a shoe repairer to give them a good servicing...

Um, they're Jeffery West shoes, which means they'll have been constructed at Cheaney Shoes in Desborough. Given, Cheaney and Jeffery West are two of the finest shoes brands in the UK, I doubt they're glued.

Though, £35 for a pair of Jeffery West shoes is offensively cheap, potentially i would have said they could have been an 'Autograph' pair, which are cheap and cheerful, but they appear to be very much mainline Jeffery West. £35 is a steal for a pair of them.
