Do BT (or anyone) do pincode access for flatshare bills?

Hi
A few years ago I was in a flatshare where each flatmate had an individual pincode, given by the phone company, to make outgoing calls on the one shared landline. When the bill came it was therefore itemised for each flatmate thus eliminating disputes etc. Simple yet very useful. I've rung BT today to ask if they offer this service but they said no (and confused what I was describing with low cost call services).

Does anyone know that BT definitely don't offer this kind of service and who if anyone does? It seems a no brainer...

Hi,

The answer is no, however they still offer free fully itemised bills it's a bit of a bore trawlling through each others calls to see who called where and for how much. I think NTL may still offer individual PINS.

Thanks very much, I'll see what I can do. It seems like such a simple and good idea.. well esp. if you're on the wrong end of a disputed bill in a flatshare
