Tesco deli counter

Right, we have a supposedly 'refurbished' tesco (Weston Favell).

So, ordered some sausages from their new fresh meat counter

Hello, I'd like 4 of those sausages please
Girl with big hoopy earings picks them up
Uhh, they're all joined together - nobody told me that she yells across to her friend on the counter
Hacks them with a knife at arms length, obviously a bit squemish about handling raw meat.
I don't want to be a butcher no more she yells to her friend.

No luv, and I don't want you to either I think.

Waltzes off to the cold meat counter. I'm not inspired with confidence that she remembers to wash her hands.

At the checkout the operator is busy chatting to their mate opposite, 'clubcard' and 'pin' are the only words said to me.

Now, I only go to this branch of tescos so I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but it never happens at sainsbury's, waitrose or asda...

i did the No talking bit when i worked at sainsburys

    ok back on point

tescos didnt employ the right person did they(their screening process is good aint it), to handle meat they have to be comfortable handling it, i know i couldnt thats why i wouldnt do a job like that, plus with the big earings im sure arent allowed on a meat counter, i thought they were meant to be studs but could be wrong though,
