Portaventura theme park tickets

hi we have been going to salou for the last 3 years and always bought out portaventura tickets on ebay and they have always been non consecutive ones which have been second hand then i always sell them back on ebay with the remaining days but i cant seem to find any im just wondering if the park has stopped doing them because of people doing this any info would be great

Hi proudmummyto three,
I usually do the same, don't think there is any changes, is it maybe too early to be buying them ?
Any I've bought have been well into the season.

The rights and wrongs of what you are asking are for another discussion..... and that discussion is raging on other internet forums

However, it seems this year that Portaventura are asking for peoples ID on entry to the park as they have been aware of people selling their tickets onto 3rd parties for some time now.

That could be why there arent any available 2nd hand.

They have put their price up TWICE this week... with the 10% discount they are still dearer than they were on monday !

Has anyone been to Portaventura yet this year are they checking id? I am going in September and have been looking for tickets on ebay but have only came across 1 set so far but not for the dates I need.
Attraction tix currently have 10% off but if I remember rightly they done a kids go free around August/September last year so I am not sure whether to hold off and wait or not. My son will have just turned 4 and I find now its very expensive compared to what we have paid in the past.

I was there 2 weeks ago and i didn't get asked.
I can't see how they would manage to ask everyone for ID before entry? Your names not on the tickets anyway are they?
The 14 day 'Max' ticket used to allow 14 days entrance within 1 year but they have stopped this now and it is 14 consecutive days.
