Every time I shutdown my pc I get a message saying the following:
End Program - MacciAsyncEventMgrWnd
Above is highlighted in the blue area, then in box area the following:
To return to windows and check the status of program click CANCEL.
If you choose to end program immediately you will lose any unsaved data. To end the program click END NOW.
I have to click on end now for pc to continue to shutdown.
PC is running on windows xp home, all updated and pc is running well. Above used to happen sometimes, but it is always now everytime on a shutdown.
Can anyone explain what this is, and why, and how to stop it, to get a clean correct shutdown.
Thanks in advance.

Some program or application is staying open,
Just before you close down open Task manager using key combo CTRL-ALT-DEL
take a look at *Applications* and see if there is anything still open and running
also you could take a look at the Event Viewer,
opening it via Control panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer
and take a look at some of the logs there timed at around the time you shut it down
