Cost effective lean-to/conservatory

What would be the most cost effective way to add extra useable indoor space to the rear of the house? Don't want to run to the cost of installing a conservatory (house is rented long term) so thinking of something along the lines of a timber lean-to or sunroom type thing. Any ideas please?
Forgot to say approx size would be 2.5m x 5m and will consist of just the front and one side wall.
