the nas drive in the staples is GBP49.91 now & i gave them GBP69.91 12days ago, so the manager said bring back the receipt & gave me GBP20 refund so thanks to the poster as i wouldnt have seen:money:

Thanks withabix for the posting. I phoned my nearest branch, Ashton u Lyne, and they had 2 left. I reserved them and collected them later. That's one for myself and a Xmas present for my son. Also, they had been marked down even further to £15.91! On removing the clearance label ready for wrapping up for a Xmas present the label below showed the original price being £149.99!

Picked one of those today myself; Seagate Barracuda ST3200823A-RK http://www.seagate.com/products/retail/external/usbfirewire

When did you phone them as I phoned them this afternoon (about 3pm) and they said none of the 40GB left, they have 1 60GB in stock at £22.91. Thanks

Picked up the last CrossFire / SmartDisk 160Gb external drive from Slough tonight.

Only USB2, no firewire, but then it was only £29.91
