Thanks for the advice.....and he further wrote that if you want to go for it, then all further details will be done by email and not through ebay message as per the ebay rule.

As I had already read about so many scams....I wanted to make sure with experienced friends on here just in case.

Hi everyone, sorry for being off the topic but I have recently started selling on Ebay and has less than 20 feedback.

Last week I got a message in my inbox like this,

We're currently setting up the selling of various vouchers.
The vouchers will be for a wide range of items, and save the buyer anything from £5 to £100's.
We're looking for eBay menbers to list these at a Start Price of 50p or 99p in their Free Listings.
We anticipate that where the Selling Price is less than £1, the Seller will keep the most or all of that.
Where £1 or more, then the Seller will pay us part of the Selling Price.
The Seller will obviously pay their own eBay & PayPal fees (small fees on small amounts).
Some vouchers will be sent by Email, whilst Paper ones by Post.
If Email, the Seller will send them to the buyer.
If Paper, they will be posted out on behalf of the Seller, after the Seller pays us any amount due, plus any amount charged for postage.
As an extra benefit, the Seller will also get a commission when the buyer actually redeems the voucher.
    Would you be interested?

The person who wrote this has 130+ positive Feedback and its 100%. He is not a business seller.

But I was a bit confused about the legitimity of this offer. Also I am not getting is the last part of the message that, how we will come to know as and when the voucher is reddemed to keep track of it....?????

    Any opinions please...?????

Forward the message onto ebay. People will get suckered into it. Either out of hoping for easy money or desperation to earn some money.
  • Please note: We only ship items if we have received payment for them!

You list item, buyer wins and pays you, you pay company, company vanishes.
  • Is it not the case that eBay has now forbidden auctions that rely on electronic delivery of the products now?

I think it was because people were "selling" links in return for feedback.

If it is the case then eBay would come down on you for listing the vouchers that would be electronically delivered.

    Eddie
