Wrote a long letter of complaint to BT about their service (we have bt total broadband.) and a catalogue of problems we've had. On the letter I stated I required a response within 7 days or I would consider the contract void (We're in a 12 month min contract) and it's been a week and I haven't heard anything from them...
My question is what do I do now? I'm fed up of calling them and though I would get better service through their complaints department but lo and behold.. nothing. I threatened to switch to a different provider because of the rubbish service but I was hoping they'd just resolve our problems and everything would be fine.
Can anyone help? Don't want to switch unless I absolutely have to and I don't want to go ahead and switch in case BT charge us for the remaining contract even though I sent the complaint letter stating I would consider the contract void.

As I expect you'll realise from THIS POST, BT's CEO (who receives e-mails on his Blackberry at all times of the day and night and who is available on ben.verwaayen@bt.com) might like to see a copy of that letter.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
