    Make sure that as well as checking out what the fees will be, you also check the exchange rate that will be used. High fees and a good exchange rate can often be preferable to low fees and a poor exchange rate, especially for large amounts of money.

    However, bear in mind that using an FX broker is a lot riskier than using a bank, as you don't really have any protection against them going bankrupt while holding your money.
