well i got a phone appointment for next monday
but its all good
phoned loyds to explain what is going on....i have £10 in cash to my name and nothing in the bank...loyds have said they cant help me with my accounts in anyway shape or form and will continue to charge me OD fees and DD return fees
country is a joke so disheartening knowing that your debt is about to get bigger0 -
does anyone have any advice as to what i should do in the mean time...ive thought about the BR route but i cant even afford the fee for it0

My Wife works in the finance industry, CCCS is a service funded by the people you owe the money too, it ensures that they get their money you owe them one way or another, they merely "stretch" out your debt for you so your in debt for longer under the guise of being a friendly face who makes life easier for you, either way the debt you owe still stands and they get the money out of you before you realise you could go for bankrupcy and they get NOTHING AT ALL , personally i dont think stretching a debt i can't afford to pay out over a longer period of time is really helping anybody (apart from the people i owed the money to in the first place) we live in a world of smoke and mirrors.0

so is my best bet just to go for BR?0

But surely br is only for those who can't afford to pay anything at all back? Even if it takes me years I'd sooner pay back what I owe..after all I was happy enough to spend the money in the first instance so I have to take credit for my actions.0

well the main point of this is that i was with a girl we planed to buy a house a few years ago we got a loan from the bank for the house and she ran off to the states with the money and left me with the debt...i have paid it all up until now...and now with zero income i cant even buy food havent eaten in 3 days....i just cant pay any more...im really stuck0

I have used the CCCS and found them nothing but helpful and full of advice including how to go bankrupt. In fact they suggested that to me and offered to help me through the paper work etc.
I have been paying a £1 token payment to all my debts through the CCCS for 6 months with no hassle at all and it does look like they were right and I need to go bankrupt but it was me that didn't want to as I thought I would find another job.
Kaya might well be right about how they are funded but I did not find that made any difference to the advice as I also went to our local money advice and the CAB and Shelter and they all suggested the same course of action.There is a race of men that don't fit in; A race that can't stand still;
So they break the hearts of kith and kin, and roam the world at will.

This makes me so cross to hear Strubruscooby, I too am in a similar position to you now thanks to an evil ex doing a runner with a bank loan!!!! The legal system in this country is rubbish, 'you signed for it jointly so you are both liable' regardless of whether you have benefitted from the funds or not!!! Rant over with....0
