Does any one have any dealings with these people at all?
My mates's girlfriend has ordered a horse rug which was £90 from here approximately 3 weeks ago and it still hasnt been delivered. There is a contact number on there website but it just goes through to an answerphone.
She also sent them an email and whats more worrying is the fact that it was bounced back goes there inbox was full.
Has anybody got any ideas as to what she can do ?
any help would be much appreciated

Apparently this business is run from an address in Romania,a long way from their Hertfordshire base. The article states there is a proposal to strike the company off.

Hello.
I have just started proceedings to get my money back from my credit card company. I am waiting to get in touch with the police to advise them of the Situation. I suggest your friend does the same thing. I have also advised everyone I know not to buy from them.
Seems to me they are a cowboy outfit.
Kind of puts you off buying from the internet!!!
Good Luck.0 -
Is it me though,or does the website look very bare and basic? I wondered if this is a sign to watch out for in relation to their professionalism.0

Unfortunately I didn't get the see these posts before I recently ordered. I ordered a Rambo Fly rug on the 15th of march, which cost over £100 because it was a 7ft3.
I did email the company twice and then actually managed to speak to someone, he said they had trouble with their system and there would be another 2 week wait. At this point I also realised I'd not recieved any confirmation of my order and also found out that the company is actually called Cam Equestrian, they are trading under a different name. Cam Equestrain went in to liquidation in 2008.
I have still not recieved my rug, I now just get the answer phone when I call them and sometimes no dial tone at all. I have sent several more emails threatening them with trading standards of which they probably haven't even read.
I'm now heading to the bank to see if they can help me get my money back, unforunately I don't think there's anything they can do......
Everyone who's had dealings with the "company" please go to trading standards or to the police. They're a horrible scam.0 -
Did you pay by credit card? If you did then talk to your bank about charging back as they have a responsibility to you as well as the retailerAlways ask ACAS0

Horserugs4U - The Website states that the money is not taken from the Credit Card until the goods are ready for Despatch, but mind was taken straight away and I waited 2 months. Quote "We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post."
I also note that they are giving a monthly draw price of £200 Gifts for a survey - Who will get that !!0 -
I placed an order with them today for a heavyweight turnout rug and have ordered from them in the past without any issues but am worried now as its been a while since I last used them!0
