Childcare vouchers

My husbands employer participates in the childcare voucher scheme and we have been using the company ALLsave to pay for our nursery care.
As a Higher rate taxpayer we currently save 40% in tax on the voucher sum. However the government have changed the benefit and from April 2011 any new participants to the childcare voucher arrangement will have their tax relief restricted to the basic rate of tax being 20%.
My husband is due to change jobs in September (he is a teacher) and both employers operate the scheme through Allsave - however we have been told by Allsave that we have to effectively leave and re-join the scheme under a new employer and as such will loose the 40% benefit - Does ANYONE know a way around this as HMRC do not even seem to have a department that can help / advise us ......

Yes, it seems that he will effectively be leaving a scheme and rejoining a new one, so the new rules will apply (unfortunately).0
