Yesterday it had to be longer than an hour so if you entered at 7.02, you would have to wait to 8.03. Will try again at 08.45 today to see if it is working ok

since the thanks message again says try tomorrow if you dont win today it might be an idea to change the end date to the end of the week and remove all risk of the thread going to go early? would then also mean i can link properly in the dailies for those who do use that thread and might miss a new thread on here every day.

It isn't working in the same manner that it did yesterday.

Yesterday I had to wait 60 minutes until I could enter in the next time slot.

Today I have waited over 60 minutes but am unable to enter in the next time slot.

Looks like they may have changed it to one slot per person per day.

Winners will be selected at random from all entries received for each Hour. If there are no entries in an Hour the winner will be selected from all entries received in the previous Hour. There will be 1 winner per Hour and 12 winners for the competition. The competition starts at 7am on 14 Feb 2011 and closes at 7.59pm on 14 Feb 2011. Each Hour will run from XX.00 to XX.59 e.g the first Hour is 07.00 - 07.59. One entry per person per Hour. Over 18 residents of UK only. Each winner will win an iPad. Draw will take place on 15 Feb and winners notified same day. Promoter is Times Newspapers Limited.


So you can enter once every hour and the draw for the 12 winners will happen tomorrow.
I would guess that they either have a problem their end (i entered at 7.04 successfully, but got the try again tomorrow at 8.06) or the entries are going through, and the message is wrong.

oh dear, :eek: i'm so sorry my post has caused some confusion with regards to t&c's etc, perhaps i should have left this one for someone more experienced at posting than myself who could have made it clearer, oops, sorry again!

ps. Thank you weeowens for the guidance on what to change the title too etc, and comping cat for posting the t&cs, much appreciated as i'm still quite new :A

I've tried to email them on their contact page but the link isn't working so looks like they'rer having a few problems on their website. Hopefully they'll sort it soon or they're going to have to draw all the winner from the first hour

actually wondering, would it be sensible to merge this thread with previous thread and change the end date on that? instead of everyone having to go to a whole different thread to read the previous problems with it?

as i had to send another merge request ive sent dalkist links to this thread and yesterdays and left it as his decision whether to merge to yesterdays or not he happened to have a green light. i really dont know whats best but do think that potentially loosing a thread to gameover every day is a bit pointless and its harder for end date people to spot and/or remember to find and enter a new thread today with tomorrows end date
