Car seized by bailiffs! Help

Help, my car was seized by bailiffs on Friday.
I had contacted the council in question regarding the PCN in question back in July last year and again in December and never received a response with regards to paying them monthly.
They did however place some tickets on hold and not others. I had contacted about all of them.
How do I get action halted with bailiffs and council and what is the best method of getting my car back?
I have proof of all emails sent and automated replies received. Would an out of time work?
Car will be going to auction in the next 5 days! I am desperate and distraught! I have posted on the CAG site and didn't really get any advice. I have since contacted my local MP to try and get her to help the situation on the grounds that I have attempted to get these paid with the council and they never responded but escalated the situation. Anyone else have any ideas?

They could only use bailiffs had they taken you to court, you lost, and refused to pay. If they found the car outside your house I find it hard to believe you are unaware of the court case. This is assuming the same rules apply to Council tickets and court enforcement as for Private tickets.0

I was unaware that I had been taken to court and as far as I was concerned I had made attempts to arrange a payment plan and hadn't heard back from them so therefore expected the tickets to have been put on hold.
Any idea what I can do? Bailiffs are now involved and have my car. I need it back but cannot pay in excess of 400.00 within the next few days to get it back. The charge with the council stands at 68.00!0 -
It's not Court, it's the stage after you received letters headed up 'Order for Recovery'.
I know you've tried CAG forum but have you tried pepipoo forum? They are the experts:
http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30
If you post there you will need to be more specific about which tickets have reached what stage and what paperwork you have for each ticket (how many are there?). I know you say you asked to pay in instalments but did you never actually appeal the PCNs?
Put the full story in a new topic on pepipoo forums in the morning along with pictures of your PCN, NtO and Order for Recovery letters. Did you get a PCN, a NtO and an Order for Recovery in each case?
Answer all those points in your thread on pepipoo, not here. They are a specialist motorists' fightback forum.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You'll probably be asked to contact Sheila at bailiffadviceonline.co.uk. They are specialists at bailiff problems. There is a small charge but far less than the bailiffs fee.Wait for pepipoo.com to advise.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I think they are allowed to take your car if it was passed by a court. But if you need it for work then they have to leave it.0

I think you will find its a bit more complex than that which is why bailiffadviceonline was set up.I think they are allowed to take your car if it was passed by a court. Do as Peter The Piper says once they have the car the the ball is in their court. To get it back needs specialist help. It may cost you but it will be better then losing the car, and the will give you advise how to go about clearing the matter up.0
