    hi all

    ive just been awarded high rate mobility and decided i wanted a car so i went to choose the car i wanted and it is on order and should get it in a few weeks but have 1 question

    QUOTE]

    Ok, without offence, the question really should be did I need to spend the whole of my DLA allowance on a new car, or would I have been better off buying a cheaper car and pocketing the difference??

    Hi all a few points,I have a car on order through motability also,before I decided I looked at the £50 per week higher rate I get (northern ireland)and what benefits a new car would be as I never bought new in my life(depreciation et al)But the motability deal although it is a lease for three years gives me a new car and its all covered for tax, insurance for 2 people full maintinance and rac roadcover so all I do is supply the fuel.I think its a good deal and I can sell my current car for cash.I had a wide choice of cars and settled for a vw golf 1.4 tsi match which is a beautiful built car plus it comes with a lot of extras.The only downside for me is the waiting time for it is at least 3 months:eek:anyway michelle best of luck with yours.
    counting down the time I got left.:beer::beer:

    Not really any of our business, the OP didn't ask us that.

    No not directly, but ;
    As said open to discusion as this is a money saving forum?, provided the usual suspects will allow that to happen??

    So you 2 lets agree to disagree and forward our own views yeah, within the constraints of what is intended to be a forum to save folks money,:money::money::money:

    Sorry gene have to add this, your new signature is nice, but to correct you, your old one quoted me and not you, MSE appeared not to like that. Keep it clean eh?

    Does that not answer your original question then?
