Glue for Verticle Blinds?

I have cut my verticle blinds to re fit another window, superglue will not re-glue them together, any suggestions as to what glue to use??:)

You want to glue two vertical slats together? It'll never look right - there will be an obvious stripe across the window - especially in the sun light. Also the slats will be shorter by however long the glued overlap is, so an inch say - you'll have a gap at the bottom of the window.

The blinds are normally stitched together, presumably because the glue tends to dry in the sun and fail. There are plenty of sellers on ebay that will supply pre-cut replacements for a £1 delivered each. I suspect the ebay route would be cheaper and easier though - especially as the slats will all be exactly the same length.

They may well be fixed by having heat applied. Perhaps you could experiment using an iron and an off cut. Alternatively, enquire at a blind supplier.

I think what you mean is turning the louvers up.
Wounder web from Asda. Just turn the louver up and use a damp cloth over it with the wounder web in between the fabric. Dont have the iron too hot.

did you try leaving them with some weight on the clued bit?

You could try the sticky backed velcro, (hooks and loops, [American]), cut into ribbons, you get yards of it in the pound shops, cheap,,,, well,,,,, eh,,,,, £1.
