That's certainly true. I've not been impressed with them and plan to complain once we get back from the trip. I have had a few issues that I don't think were handled very well. Anyway, I'll try and contact the restaurant direct and see what's what. Cheers for the help everyone.

For bulk visitors sometimes its easier for the restaurant just to make a huge batch of the same thing even though they may make other foods. I have had a similar thing i nthe past when going on courses and staying in a hotel. The hotel restaurant would only do us a specific number of items from the menu.

If the travel company created the impression you could choose whatever you wanted and you have not gone on the trip yet, then yes I think you have grounds for a refund if not a discount.

Yes - I had totally forgotten about vegetarian / dietry needs options, I suppose it is a basic requirement really. I would then get in touch asap and raise your concerns as for that amount of money I would be looking for choices too - I would only accept a set menu at a cost of not much more than a fiver per head.

To be fair, we don't know the restaurant. It might be very posh and have fantastic food with excellent quality of ingredients and great staff :beer:
