Tesco CC ?

we only foodshop at Tesco, it being the nearest supermarket by miles, and use the clubcard points for trips etc. from their clubcard deals

is it worth getting the Tesco Clubcard CC or is there a cashback (or other deal) card that would give a better return ?

should also add that we intend using the card for everything, not just Tesco, and paying it off in full at the end of the month

thanks

to some extent, it depends upon your circumstances but for many 'ordinary type' people then, if you pay off your CC each month then a cashback card is the best solution ...something like the EGG MONEY which gives 1% cashback on all spending and can also be used for super balance transfers if you're into stoozing.
  • I have a tesco clubcard cc, you get 5 points for every £4 you spend at Tesco or Tesco.com and 1 point for every £4 you spend everywhere else.

I also received 6 months 0% all new purchases.
  • The Tesco CC is equivalent to a 0.25% cashback card (or 1% if you use the points for clubcard deals).

We've got one of these, as the points quadruple up for their "deals", and we are a good way to paying for a short break in the New Year.

Our card itself is interest free at the moment, and we got a pretty good limit on it.
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I have the original Tesco credit card and get 1.5 points per pound for Tesco shopping and 1 point per £2 for other shopping. It soon adds up and as has been mentioned, can be quadrupled in value by spending the vouchers on deals rather than in store.

Yes, I have this one too. The old Tesco CC is equivalent to a 0.5% cashback card (or 2% if you use the points for clubcard deals).
  • I also have Tesco credit card and use it everywhere for purchases over £4. Most of my foodshop is done at Asda and Lidl and it is so great to get Tesco clubcard points here.
    Thanks Mr T:T :T :T
