In the last few months I have taken to switching off my computer and peripherals at the wall socket before going to bed. Now when I switch the computer back on the next day there is a time delay of about 2 minutes before the computer commences boot up.
Initially there are no lights or leds whatsoever, then hey presto 2 minutes later it comes to life. It lights up and off it goes.
Any ideas?

If you know how to access your BIOS you could try going in and performing a 'load optimized defaults' or 'load failsafe defaults.' This might fix the problem if it is caused by some weird BIOS setting combination.0

it does sound psu'y or possibly a loose connection inside. If the former, even more reason to turn it off at night, they can set on fire. Sleep easy though, it's rare.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Many thanks, I will probably change the PSU after I have a go at the bios.0
