All washing is now dry, folded, in airing cupboard ready to be ironed tomorrow.

Well done Valli!

I've opened my new pasta pot, washed, dried it and made tea in it. I've also washed and dried all the other numerous dishes which seem to have accumulated - I'm sure some of the saucepans have been there nearly all week!

Tea also cooked and eaten

i am feeling smug!

DS has just come into the dining room looking for some clean socks. He looked in the pine chest, which at Christmas was full to overflowing with clean washing.

As he lifted the lid it was possible to hear the tumbleweed rolling in the bottom - there was not one jot of ironing in there and the socks were paired in his bedroom!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

DD2 decluttered to meal out, DD1 upstairs watching Lets Dance for Comic Relief. I am just finishing ironing the duvet cover I washed today, and then I will sit down and put my feet up!

There is one downside to having sorted the laundry - I now have no excuse for not sorting the rest of the c*** in this house.....

evening everyone
its was very wet here in the morning but dried up in the pm - very raw though. there is a dusting of icing sugar on the surrounding hills.

Mumto5 poor DS2 - get well wishes for him - ice cream for the bad throat?

I am tired but have had a nice day - was at a 'quiet' day of meditation and prayer and discussion - 22 of us and very good. I also got the chance to catch up with a lady i have come to know from the same group - havent seen her since November I think.

But I had better get of my butt and do some things - 1 x WM needs putting on the airer.
need to wrap and pack several eBay sales - have been ok this week - the rest finish tomorrow - at the moment it is 14/26 and I think there will be a few more - fingers crossed.
