  • not much done so far, but, thanks to this fred, when I had a small accident with a large pot of turtle food this morning, I was able to sweep it up and put it back in the pot, the sweeping brush was clean, the dustpan was clean and the floor was pretty good:j

    2 new bits of worktop turned up yesterday very :money: as we got it half price!! the sink which has been in a box for the last umpteen years, is now on the kitchen table, all the bits we need to fix it are in the box:j

    Also found out that a friend has the jig thingy to cut the worktop so dont need to hire it from shop very:money::j
    looking at the possibility that the kitchen may well get finished soon:T:j:T:j:T:j:T

    decluttered desk at work

    will mop floors at lunch break

    Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
    Level One

    Level Two
    Clear out a cupboard.. the larder unit if yyou jave one or just the general messiness of cupboard.. the one where you stuff all things useless.
    Level Three
    Wipe the tops of the wall units.. lining them with old wallpaper or newspaper keeps them clean!
    wash windows!

    Extras
    1. Wash light shades and clean bulbs
    2. Sort out and restock baking cupboards
    Tuesday ~ Living/Family/Reception room
    Level One
    Level Two
    Wipe sticky grubby marks from walls and paintwork
    Vacuum nuder furniture you can safely move.. we have bit of a baby boom on at the moment so please all be careful!!!
    Wash any smelly soft furnishings (this may include pets and OH's)
    Level Three
    Polish any glass.. screens, pictures, ornaments mirrors etc

    Extras
    1. Wipe and water any plants
    2. Vacuum fluff from the fire and behind the radiator
    Wednesday ~ Master bedroom
    Level One
    Level Two
    clean the window
    Dust away the webs and fluff
    Level Three
    Sort through a box of stuff...
    Tidy up a cupboard of clothing

    Extras
    1. Clear out dead and dying tops
    Thursday ~ Bathroom, hall, stairs and landing!
    Level One

    Level Two
    Empty out and clean a cupboard.. put back the necessaries neat and tidy!
    Level Three
    Wipe the doors in the hallway
    Wipe radiators.. front and back!

    Extras
    1. Clean out the upstairs bins.
    Friday ~ Chimps rooms!/Spare rooms..
    Level One
    Level Two
    Rope children in and declutter the floors and quickly vacuum them
    Straighten cupboards of clothing/shoes
    Level Three
    Tidy up a bookcase or a toy box.. or just a box of junk!
    Wash any smelly curtains and wash windows

    Extras
    1. Go spend some time with your little people.. or big people.. or friends.. or man hunting (greenbee :p)
    2. Binbag dance
    3. HHI
    4. Spend weekend slobbing!

    Pumice stone primed again, we have weird, hard water. It leaves a 'iron' scale deposit...

    Tidy the towel cupboard.. any manky towels can be donated to the PDSA or dog rescue.. they always need them!.. and blankets etc
    Wipe radiators.. front and back!
    Replace any dead sponges/toothbrushes!
    Extras
    1. Binbag dance
    2. HH doing something you want to do.. reading or whatever.

    I'm still waaaay spaced out after yesterdays migraine, so will potter rather than fly.

    Saving up £25000/£3500 by Jan 1st 2012 by selling my clutter. Remember I'm doing it for Dad.
    Textiles, languages, travel and a lovely home are not stupid things to want. You have immediate family's support.Appreciate what I've achieved so far. Other people's opinion of me is none of my business.

  • In my HHC i managed to hoover and mop the lounge floor (again!) load the DW, load the WM, clean the bathroom and toilet. hoover the hall stairs and landing and wipe the hand rail.

    Thursday ~ Bathroom, hall, stairs and landing!
    Level One

    [STRIKE]Declutter and vacuum/mop floors[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sort coats, bags, shoes and dead umbrellas!.. Get rid of any that are no longer needed.[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean the bath, sinks, blah blah.. you know the list! don't forget the back of the toilet.. that gets gross.. and under the icky rim![/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Empty out and clean a cupboard.. put back the necessaries neat and tidy! [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wash doormats, bathmats and shower curtains[/STRIKE] - dont have any

    Put a load of washing away
    Reloaded the washing machine
    Decluttered my office desk.

    Starting again if anyone wants to join me for a HHC at 1200?
