I need some help please!
I have just tried posting to a Newsgroup and I get this error:
Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject 'Re: Help installing', Account: 'news.cable.ntlworld.com', Server: 'news.cable.ntlworld.com', Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '441 Posting Failed ("From" Header not in Internet Syntax.)', Port: 119, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 441, Error Number: 0x800CCCA9
My isp is ntl. Any help would be appreciated.

In OE: Tools - Accounts - News tab. Double-click news.cable.ntlworld.com. On General tab make sure the email address is valid. It doesn't have to be an actual email address, but must be valid syntax, i.e. xxx@yyy.com.0

Thank you Chippy_Minton. You just saved my scalp! Thanks again!
I would have pressed the Thanks a 1000 times if I could!
I love this website. Thanks for setting it up Martin!0 -
If you want people to email you in response to newsgroup messages, don't use your plain email address. Disguise it to help prevent automatic spam harvesters picking it up, e.g. INVALIDmy.name@REMOVEntl.com. It should be obvious to human readers what your actual email is, although some people put instructions in their posting signatures.
If you don't want email responses, any junk email address will do.0 -
Good tip! I already follow it. Thanks again0
