Clueless - Is extra wireless required or a waste of money?

Hi there,
I'm about to purchase a Dell Vostro V130 through the Dell website.
I'm sure many of you will know that when you click on the chosen laptop you get the option to "customize" your machine - They take you through various screens where you can choose to upgrade the software, hard drive etc.
I've been going through this process and I noticed there are two screens which are called "Wireless Connectivity".
My question is this - What is the difference between these two options? Do I need the vodaphone card in order to access the internet wirelessly in my own house or to pick it up in the airport or other wireless zone?
Is choosing screen 2 sufficient for my purposes, therefore saving me £108?
Below are the two seperate pages that appear when customizing. They are a few pages away from each other, so not sure if they are a different thing or a bit of a sneaky way to up the price? I've labelled them screen 1 and screen 2
Screen 1
Wireless Connectivity
Not included
UK Internal Dell Wireless 5540 Minicard for Vodafone [add £108.00 or £5/month1]
Screen 2
Wireless Connectivity
European Dell Wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth v3.0+HS Card [Included in Price]
Hopefully someone who knows their onions can advise me! Thanks a million

Most likely unless you want to be able to get on the net anywhere where there is no WiFi.

Wireless Connectivity

This allows you to connect anywhere that you can get a Vodafone signal e.g. like a mobile.
Screen 2
Wireless Connectivity
European Dell Wireless 1702 802.11b/g/n + Bluetooth v3.0+HS Card [Included in Price]
This is included as standard and allows connection to your home wireless network or a WiFi hotspot in an airport, cafe etc.
Hopefully someone who knows their onions can advise me! Thanks a million

Hi,
Screen 2 will give you a 'normal' wireless card to allow you to cnnect wirelessly at home or to a hotspot etc. Screen 1 does look like an 'upsell' but it will allow you to connect anywhere using Vodafones' mobile phone signal. if you don't need this, dOn't get it - you can always get one later (and probably cheaper).0 -
Thanks a million for the advice!
