I've just received a letter from NPOWER saying ''were sorry your leaving us'' and a cheque for £60 as my account was in credit, the thing is i'm on a key meter so how can it be?

Check your account has been closed to the correct meter reading. If it has then bank the cheque. Prepayment meters aren't reliable at collecting the correct rate although it is more usual for them to undercharge you.0
