in Techie Stuff
when I try and download a free app on ipod touch it comes up with 'do you wish to make a purchase and continue'. It never has done that before. Has anyone else had this problem and if I hit ok will it charge me or will it be free.....

I have had a similar message when downloading free apps. From my perspective it is just to go through the authentication process, licence agreement, etc. and I have never been charged for it. That said this does not guarantee you are experiencing the same thing.
Maybe try other free apps first and see if you get the same request?0
