Notice to quit Section 21

They are not leaving any earlier than they have to, they just have the option if they choose, he is happy for them to use there whole 2 month period should they wish, on the other hand if they want to move out say next weeks he's happy with that also, but I understand having spoke with him on the phone earlier that he does not want to make it difficult to move to there next property and as such would be happy giving them the deposit on exit. It just seems the deposit schemes don't allow this, ie making it difficult for the tenant moving on.
I am not sure I got my message across clearly. They can sign the entire deposit across to the LL online, and he can pay it in cash to them, even though he won't receive it from TDS for a few days. He may have to do something like that to get them out and on their way.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Can anyone please confirm the above please? Thanks, I think I understand what I need to tell him, however am I correct in thinking that providing they get the section 21 on or before the 18th feb then there move out date will be 18th April? Is this correct? Not sure what you mean by the 18 march though, maybe you will explain.
Reason he not asking is because his laptop broke on friday and needs to be returned and repaired under warrenty, I pad!

Yes, if your friend has good tenants who are happy to move. They could in theory not leave and then your friend would have to start court proceedings to get them evicted. (More than likely they will move out and all will be well but your friend should keep in mind the small chance that he may not get the house back on 19th april):AWhatever it is - I didn't do it!:A0
