Can someone remind me pls? Boots Cmas points evenings you normally get a voucher for 500 extra points at their next points evening at the till.

If I spent £150 one transaction, then £150 at the next points event a month later would I get:

1 x extra points voucher first time, 1500 extra points when using the voucher next cmas points evening
OR
1 x extra points voucher first time, 500 extra points when using the voucher next cmas points evening

Anyone know? Thanks

You only get the extra 500 once in the transaction, so if on the 2nd evening you spent £150 you would get 3500, 1000 for each £50 + 500 extra

Where do you get the £5 off electricals vouchers from please? Do you have to purchase something for £5 or more in store or is it a voucher at the AC machine? I've got some vouchers from there for x amount of points for a conditional spend but is usually on that day only..and I get confused about whether it is a good deal as i'm quite new to the AC system.

I'm hoping to get an electic toothbrush in Boots as well and any additional discount would be great. Has anyone tried the Boots Expert whitening electric toothbrush? It has all the features of the Oral B 3000 one that is reduced to £50 at the moment.. but for £22 just wondered if it is any good. I'm thinking about getting the Oral B 2000 or 3000. Would Boots be the best place to get it? It's the same price on Amazon I think. Thanks

In Boots Bournemouth town centre they are giving away a free gift with the OOTW No7 P&P set.
The sign says it is just for that store, and there was a choice of gits - they had towels, beach bags, body lotions (not no7, Beyonce range I think) and perfumes (some random brand I don't remember!)

The vouchers come through the post with your advantage card coupons.oral b toothbrushes more differently, and are definitely better. I'm at work just now, but when I'm home I'll run through the various features for each on so you can make an informed descision Natalie Xx

oh dear, in my haste to write that it made no sense! i meant the oral b toothbrushes WORK slightly differently and are far better.
boots own brushes just oscillate (move side to side) so they only sweep away already loose plaque, whereas the oral b ones pulsate move forward and backwards) AND oscillate. the pulsating motion breaks up the stubborn plaque, while the oscilating motion sweeps it away. so most definitely oral B wins in my book.
now between the 2000 and 3000, the power is exactly the same. The 4000 and 5000 offer the same power too.
The difference in price relates to the modes it has.

the 2000 has 2 modes, daily clean and sensitive, which is good if you do have sensitive teeth and want a gentler brushing experience. it also has a proffesional timer, which means the brush stutters every 30 seconds then at 2 minutes. this is so your mouth gets an even brush, 30 seconds for each quadrant. It also has a brushing indicator to tell you if you are brushing too hard

The 3000 has the timer, and the indicator but offers 3 different cleaning modes, daily clean, sensitive and polish (to remove stains..and who doesnt want that!)

The £10 difference between the two, i think is justified, i have noticed a decent difference in my teeth since i started using my polish mode regularly. it is up to you though obviously, just rememmber, the power between the 2,3,4 and 5000 is exactly the same, its the modes it offers that differ

Thanks Natalie I have sensitive teeth so was hoping to get one with a sensitive mode.. but not sure about the polish one. Would you say it has made your teeth whiter? I went on the Oral B website and on the US version they called it a "whitening" mode but on the UK site a "polish" mode... which is odd! Exactly the same brush! How often do you get the vouchers in the post? I've had my card a while but never received anything except some nivea vouchers a few weeks ago, mainly just ads for nivea! Didn't get any coupons for money off electric items or anything Do you have to shop at Boots a lot to receive them? I do shop there but my local is a tiny one and there isn't much selection.

How do the Philips Sonic care ones differ? I've heard they are expensive but they don't move in the same way as the Oral B.. so perhaps not as good? Sorry for all the questions! Thanks for your help
