hi everybody,
just a queston about advantage card coupons. can i buy 2 electrical toothbrushes which total £45 and use the £5.00 off (when you spend £35.00)or more in a single transaction. the tootbrushes (oral b)are reduced at moment.
Make sure to toss in any extra points vouchers you have (they come in mailings and often are on the ACM machines in store). You can usually combine these -- like if you have xxx points for 25 quid spend and xxx points for a 30 quid spend, you should be able to use them both if you're spending over the specified amount. And if you can't, no harm done -- just make sure to hand over the higher points voucher first on the very unlikely chance you can only use one.
Or, if the sale isn't ending before and plenty of toothbrushes are in stock, you might be better off waiting for the Christmas shopping evenings next week (26th and 27th Oct) and getting it then. Spend 50 and you'll get 12 pounds in points. You can even try your extra points vouchers, which aren't supposed to work on shopping evenings but sometimes do. If you use the 5 quid off voucher and *if* it works during the shopping evening, however, you need to make sure your total spend still comes to over 50 quid to get the 12 quid of bonus points.
Also, asking Boots staff what works doesn't always give you the best info -- they will just tell you how the offer is *supposed* to work. The terms on the voucher say one thing, but the till often does another. And most staff go by whatever the till decides -- if they scan a coupon and it works, they'll almost always let you have it.0 -

It is, but the day and night creams cost £45 together, so you're getting the serum and body lotion for free. £98 is waaaaaay overpriced though!Long haul supporter #290POAYDBX2014 #043LBM Dec 2011 Debt £51K Debt Nov 2014 £42K0 -

Hi, i actually work in the electrical dept in boots, and i take vouchers for this type of transaction all the time, theres nothing that says you cant. they work perfectly fine. unless the brushes are actually on clearance? if the sale price is just a normal sale then its fine. :jchildren wetting the bed?
