I did not get the 1/3 off deoderant which I would have liked but I did get 25% off shampoo and conditioner, I have quite simple taste so got a stock of the Pantene ice shine which was on buy one get one free. The 25% voucher was only valid on one item but the nice cashier let me go back to the machine and print out more so that I could put more through as different transactions. Basically it worked out as 2 big bottles of pantene for £3.05.

Hi, i tried the 3 day frizz eaze today for the first time...have quite straight hair but its ginger and goes frizzy really easily if it gets damp or wet.....went out today walking in the rain...with brolly....and in and out of the garden when it was quite damp out side and the top layer of my hair has not gone frizzy at all...normally have the hair straighteners out a couple of times during the day when its wet .....hair feels really nice not clogged up with hair products....only had one in my small Boots when i got mine so going to try and get some more tomorrow.....btw I have really long waist length hair....
Hope this is some use to everyone but i have to say its the best product i've used for ages....

There's a deal on at the moment for Boots Essentials Cucumber wipes. They are usually £2.03 per packet but are on offer for 3 packets for £3. However, at work we have noticed that 3 packs go through the till for £3 but if a customer buys 6 packs they go through the till for £3.97!
We have no idea how this works but it seems to be 2 offers working together. As I dont know what is making this work I can't tell you how long the offer is running for or even if it's working in all Boots stores. It may be an error on our tills for all I know. I just thought that if somebody was buying 3 packs anyway they might want to take a chance on the 6 and then if it doesnt go through the till as planned you can always ask the sales assistant to take 3 off as you have changed your mind!

Just to say I tried this in my local store this morning and it worked fine! 6 packs for £3.97!! :D
  • I use the Lee Stafford hair straightening spray, and when I got sent my last set of vouchers one was 1/2 price on Lee Stafford. Wasn't sure how it would work with this offer, but I bought two items which should have come to nearly £13, the half price kicked in, plus it took £5.xx off to make it to the £8 so I got them both for £4.44!
  • This mornings update on my new frizz eaze 3 day straightening spray....got up this morning with no bed head, hair is lovely and straight and i didnt need to use the hair straighteners this morning, thats a real change for me, just about to go out with my mum and dad for dad's birthday and its raining here so we'll see how we get on now, so far i'm impressed..........

  • Many thanks OP - picked up the wipes today. I see from the receipt that they are giving the fifth item free as well as the discount on the 3 for £3 offer - are these wipes part of the 5 for 4 on Travel minis promo? It looks that way, and if so, there could be an overlap on the Sanctuary and S & G minis and also the dental items (and maybe some other items?) as these are all on both the 3 for 2 as well as the 5 for 4 promos - overlaps in Boots terms generally means glitches. Only occurred to me after I got home so haven't had a chance to test it out, but the possible premutations are endless ....... Any one want to test it out and find the best combination of 6 items?

Also want to say welcome, and thanks for such a friendly thread. xx

Loved the idea of the above promotions overlapping so got my friendly SA to try it today, scanned 6 x S&G mini body butters @ £2.35 each.
3 for 2 kicked in as well as 5 for 4 mini travel offer
    balance to pay £7.05 for 6 items.:j:j

Making each item purchased in this offer 1/2 price, oh and dont forget to pick up the FREE gift bags with your items ( I've seen sancutary & S&G bags in my local), makes nice looking pressies
    then.

As RootedNomad said should work with the other items that are covered by both offers, just didn't have time today to check any others.

Thanks to OP, RootedNomad and all posting in this thread.

Well done, but how did this work out to £5.80 for 3. Did they let you use 2 vouchers in the same transaction?

Sounds like the one voucher takes 1/3 off each item (except the free one on 342). However, since this didn't work automatically with the s&g deodorant, I wouldn't count on getting it. It's SA dependent.

i only used 1 voucher. looking back, it should have not been the case. i guess she was in a hurry to get rid of me... im really tempted to go back so i can stock up. ;)
i wish i have live my life a little bit off the book, took a chance and gamble
