Excuse my ignorance but what is the PAD thread?

    Link here

The idea is that you make a small (or large) payment everyday (or frequently) to try and make dents in your debt. I think it really works as you don't miss £1 here or there but that is £30+ over the month.

Everyone is really friendly on the thread so I recommend giving it a go.

  • Good morning everyone!

Sorry - I'm a bit late with joining in this week. Last week I can report that I came in green with a spend of £63 out of my pledged £65 - woohoo!

This week will be quite a spendy one as I have some plumbing in the bathroom to sort out - I've worked out what parts I need and added it all up, and I'll pledge a whopping £155! I'm hoping that that by setting a budget and including it in this weekly pledge, it will stop me from buying all those lil extras or upgrading needlessly to more expensive parts!

Thanks as always Pointy for keeping the thread going! Hope you all had a good Valentine's Day yesterday. Have a good week everyone and good luck! sunshine-012.gif

OK, not sure I have the mental capacity for this, but we'll give it a go . . .

    So far I have spent:
£14.85 on food bits (beyond groceries budget)
    99p on parcel wrap
£12.72 on postage for eBay items
£23.00 on a wicker hamper for a friend's birthday present

    But . . . I earnt £103.17 on eBay sales so my current balance is . . .

£51.61 in the black . . . could be my first yellow week ever!

  • Apologies Chris I was in late last night so didn't update the thread. Will do it tonight as I can't do it on my phone.

Went to the pub quiz last night so I'm £20 lighter after drinks and a baked potato.

    Happy hump day everyone.
