I think JM Barrie was not only noble but also clever in that he chose to leave the lucrative copyright of his stage play and royalties in perpetuity to a children's hospital. Now that's an inspiration to write a best selling novel and leave royalties for a deserving cause.0

Considering the enormity of the amount. This a BBBBillion folks! Then I find almost any answer other than taking the money very selfish and thoughtless.
That kind of wealth can do a phenomenal amount of good for countless people. The fact that 1:7 people who share our planet are starving to death (at various rates) has to bring shame to the rest of us comfortably living in the developed world by accident of birth.
However much pleasure a person could have in most of the other options, I can't imagine it could possibly come close to the pleasure of seeing the faces of the million plus people who's lives you could save.
Besides, with £1billion, you could buy yourself most of the other options for relatively 'small change' and still impact the lives of a million other people more deserving than most of us sat here at our computers.
If you voted not to take the money. I urge you to think harder and smarter folks!
Keep smiling, Wilf.Keep smiling!0
