I assume the 1.1 Active Eco is the model that's @ £5750 (where?), not the 1.2 Active (Euro V model)

Anyway, Picanto is coming in at £6050 OTR with a very good finance deal.

    Yes, the 1.1.

The Panda 1.1 has now been discontinued (since October) so any 1.1s are old stock.

    The 1.2 is far faster.

I have a 10 plate 1.1 which I have now done 2635 miles in since new all stop start city work.

The Kia warranty has lots of exclusions don't make sure you read all the small print, you will soon find it is not as good as you would imagine ansd you're stuck with pricey servicing.

The only dealer visit I have made for my Panda was a springing clutch pedal (it made a noise like a spring) it just need some oil on a bush the dealer sorted it out under warranty with no fuss and valated it.

The Panda does have an old engine but it is very easy to fix and if it is a long term ownership then any back street garage can service it no problem once its out of warranty.

First fill up after 250 miles, 25 litres, 45.4MPG.
Second fill up after 550 miles (300), 28 litres, 48.6MPG

    :D

Another exciting fuel economy update :rotfl:

    Between 1080 and 1390 miles (310) - 26 litres - 54.1MPG

...... apart from an unidentified rattle and a smashed tail light, all is well :D

Not bad economy for a tight petrol engine, should loosen up nicely Kilty.

My wifes Clio DCi is doing just over 60mpg mostly round town, so not much more than your petrol engined car.

Still no rattles from the Clio though!!!!!!:D
