Overdraft advice on Barclays Current Account Plus

Hello all.
I had an account with Barclays for approximately 7 years and I have never went overdrawn until 12th February, in which I went overdrawn by £4.80 by mistake (which I feel a bit iffy now because like I said, I haven't been in this situation before).
So far, I haven't received a letter or a notification from Barclays with regards to the situation as yet and I was wondering what actions I should take from there.
Any advice would be appreciated - thanks!

Get the account back into credit asap.
Your best bet is to do a Faster Payment from another account, or if you have any other Barclays accounts, an internal transfer. This should go through today.
Failing that, try to get to a branch tomorrow to get cash in.
If you have an arranged overdraft then you should only be charged a few pence.0 -
Thanks for the advice rb10 - I will consider doing the latter as I cannot do the former two suggestions!0

Speaking of overdrafts, how long does it usually take for a bank (in this case, Barclays) to send you a letter of notification for an overdraft?0

Barclays accounts come with a ten pound buffer so you won't be breaking any terms or incurring charges by being less than ten pounds overdrawn without an overdraft.Cashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
