My Outlaws have been living with us since September of last year when their central heating boiler packed up. Thanks to Warm Front they were offered a new boler for free, but had to go on the waiting list like everybody else. At the beginning of this week we were told a contractor had been allocated.

After a bit of a dodgy start communication wise, the contractor, gave us an installation date of Thursday/Friday just gone.

They came on time and did a splendid job. The two fitters were really nice and knew their stuff. I cannot fault them. I was concerned about the problems many people had had with their condensation drain pipes freezing that caused heating systems to shut down during the worst winter we have had for a long time.
The fitters explained how the drain pipe was routed and lagged, and showed us how to bypass the external vent should there be extreme weather conditions, so the heating wouldn't cut out.

Well done boyos. Beautiful Welsh accents, really nice blokes, and a job well done.

The house is beeing warmed through and dried out this week so the Outlaws can go home later next week.
