Hi

This looks like a really good deal:

Any thoughts?

Not aware of any 1.3 new shape Kas only the old shape (apart from the multijets). The small print says based on an 08 plate Ka. I suspect this is the Ka MK1 and it is already two years old. You're basically paying £100 a month to lease a three year old rust bucket.

"These Ford KA cars on demand are 08/08 Plates done between 25,000 to 27,000 miles and are fully prepared to BVRLA standards and include a warranty. Please email a sales advisor for available colours. Other deposits and terms available and we take part exchanges !"#

you are correct in that the 08 shape was the old one.. they rust as soon as you set eyes on em.. 1.3 engine at this age will be the duratech one. not the tappy endura.

Fiat are doing the Panda Active for £5995, it is a brilliant car for the momeny, but then I may be biased I have one. I am paying £128 a month (£99 deposit) and £128 a month for the next four years, then £1600 if I want to keep it at the end of the four years.

They are much better built than the Ka MK1, and the Ka MK2 is actually based on the Fiat Panda and is built by FIAT. They share the same engines, gearboxes, chasis etc.

Perrys have the new Euro V 1.2 Active Eco for £5995 at the moment - epic bargain and I can't find anywhere else that's not still churning out the old 1.1s.

Seriously considering one although if I want the 1.2 I think I'll need to go pre-reg because there's not a Perrys anywhere near me

The new KA has a 6 year anti rust guarantee. It has a 3 year warranty or 60,000 miles. If this car lease deal has already 20,000 miles on the clock and you are leasing it for 3 years / 30,000 miles - that's 50,000 miles - so what's the worry?

You hand the car back anyway - you cares what happens to it there after? That's the beauty of car leasing isn't it? :money:
