My kids still aren't in bed, so I am having a glass of wine to settle myself, OH is out so I am on my own with the 3 of them. Its half term so they think they should be up late.

Well horrible old Monday tomorrow, at least February is a short pay month, but not short enough.

Sorry not been around much, had a fair bit going on and some rather freaky phone calls from an annoymous number.

I had a lovely surprise at work this morning, my OH had arranged for a red rose, balloon adn a teddy to be sent to me. Ah, I wanted to cry as it was really sweet and unexpected.

I have put more washing out today and it is a windier day so I am hoping that the wind and sunshine will do it some good (even tho it is still quite cold out there). I've been very optimistic and put a second small load on so if it all comes in damp tonight we will be living in a chinese laundry

Hi everyone

LMC that was lovely, my husband did something simlar.I was putting washing on the line when he came to the back door and and asked me to go inside and when i did he had a red rose hidden behind his back bless him... feel guilty because i never got him anything, the car failed its mot so had to keep money back for that. Will treat him to a nice meal somewhere next week.

Gosh it is quiet on here isnt it?

Morning all. I have this morning off then have to take DS1 to ENT appointment in the afternoon. Kids are at the childminder's so I am just having some time to me.

I have checked my bank/credit cards etc online, put on a wash, had a cup of tea and 2 small croissants now I am going to hang the wash and then maybe clean the bathroom, but I'll not be rushing too much.

Hello all,just finished the ironing so taking 5 mins out...
We met 2 other couples for a chinese sat night, and my DH had (amazingly) gone out earlier in the day and bought 3 bouquets of red roses and delivered them to the chinese. They had put them on the table for us when we arrived-he's never been that organised in 28 years!!!
About to start looking at hire cars in Washington as we are off there for a long weekend saturday...ooh, and I have booked another QM2 trip in October-with the kids this time,so I am counting my blessings at having lots of stuff to look forward too! On the downside, a good friend of mine moves to Qatar on friday for 2 years -still, I can always visit!!
