Hi All,
Can anyone tell me wheter the DVLA has to be informed if a car has vinyl wrap on it,not sure whether this is classed as a color change due to being able to remove it and the original color still being on the car underneath the wrap.

says no, as does all other sites I've read but best to check with your local DVLA office first.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -
If your changing the colour by wrap or paint its best to change the paperwork. What if you got
stopped for a spot check or a minor incident, Quick check comes back saying your car is red but its clearly
blue.
How long do you want to be held up whilst they check your car? What if they decide to tow it so they can

Yes it is classed as a colour change.0 -
Probably classed as a modification too, insurance might not be valid
