Landsbanki's IceSave @ a soon to be 5.45% will give you a top rate and all the flexibility you need.
  • HI and welcome. Congratulations on starting to save. The NSandI ISA is definitely a good place to start.

With regards to the rest of the money you want a savings account with a good rate of interest and good access- ie you can get your money when you want it? If so perhaps do a search on Moneysupermarket.com for savings accounts? The other thing is check out Martins article here on savings accounts: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1098730527,15721,
