Renault Wind....

OK it's French and a hairdressers car so will probably go down like a lead balloon on these boards however :rotfl:

Anyone driven one? On paper I think it'd be a riot to drive, small light car with a small turbocharged petrol engine (1.2 TCE) (or the 1.6 VVT from the RenaultSport Twingo but I think the TCE engine would be more suited although down on power)

The Twingo is a hoot to drive. The Wind is basically a Twingo with a tarts exterior. That said one of my male neighbours has a red one. :D

I assume since dealers are already offering massive discounts on late 2010 '60' pre reg models then it's going to have the legendary Renault residuals too

Not sure I'd want a 3 year old one with that electric roof though - even at 20% of it's original value..... hmmm

I'd never even heard of them until one pulled up alongside me last week, read into it what you will but the driver was a greying 50's male. I have to say I thought it was cute, wouldn't drive one myself mind.

Have to say I quite like the look of it from the photos.

Reviews of it are ok - Renault Wind reviews

Looks nice in the blue on the adverts I've seen. Don't think it would be anywhere near as fun to drive as the Twingo Renaultsport though!

It drives great, loved my few days in one, real hoot!

I have one, and really like it. The 1.2 turbot engine is a cracker - pulls really well although it doesn't have the top end performance of the 1.6.
