To test hardware I use 2 Programs:
Dr Hardware (https://www.dr-hardware.com)
Test my PC
We also remove components like RAM and addon cards and reseat them
making sure theres no dust and fluff and check all cables. All components are dusted in an antistatic environment.
Power Supplies are checked too unsing a little device i got from our supplier, it checks amd measures the voltage to make sure its outputting right (Many times been scratchnig head wondering why PC is failing and its been PSU!!!)
£35 is the charge because ive got a lot of the process scripted and automated so it can be left to tick away so not too much "real time" needs to be spent.Just owe Dad £2500 for a new car

Paid off car loan 22nd August 2009. :T0 -

That true, I had a system that was very flacky which turned out to be a weak PSU, managing no more that 11.3V on the 12V rail. A 500W PSU sorted it all out.0
