Samsung NC10 Netbook "white screen" problem

I'm using a brand new samsung netbook that i'm not sure has been released to the shops yet, I got it in april on QVC as a todays special value, I bought it because my NC10 has the white screen problem, I see that it is mentioned on loads of forums but didn't think they'd repair mine as I bought it in 2008.

thanks for this thread as I might just contact their customer services and see if I can get it repaired now. It was working perfectly in every way and I had tons of photos on it etc that I can't access now. Stupidly i'd not backed them up to anything, lesson learned there!

I hate the thought of all of my word docs and pics being poured over though by sending it in to get fixed but needs must!

If you have a monitor then you could still get to the contents by plugging the cable into the VGA port.
