Reclaiming PPI on Loan

Options
I was wondering whether someone could give me some advice, iv got ppi on my loan through the halifax bank of scotland which i am just about to claim back the money as it was mis-sold, does anyone no how they pay the money back to me if it is successful? Will they pay it onto the remaiing balance of the loan, or will they send the payment in a cheque through the post?

If anyone can help me with this query it would be much appriciated.

Many thanks

If successful in your claim, they should normally pay you the refund directly (by cheque, into a bank account, etc)

The exception to this is if you are currently in arrears repaying the loan, in which case they will probably use any refund to address those arrears.
