My AVG is picking up a trojan horse virus everyday, and although it says its healing it, i dont think it is, as it is finding one everyday!!!! Is there anything i can do to make sure it is removed completely, and doesnt return?

yes.. get a proper virus checker and firewall on your pc.. the best on the market is 'nod32' by 'eset'. blows any of these free ones out of the water and also put macaffee and norton to shame. download the 30 day trial and get rid of your virus with that.. https://www.eset.com
Make sure you have a firewall on your pc.. there is a free sygate one you can use. I've used nod32 and sygate in conjunction for over 2 years now and they have blocked everything..=======================

Update your Anti virus and run a full system scan in safe mode.
If it comes up clean then there could be traces of the virus still on your machine dont forget to run CCleaner through you system too.
You can get it from here

Post back a HJT log if it still hasn't gone. We'll fix it manually.

Yes. Got to go along with this. NOD32 is the best. Blows Norton not just out of the water but off the planet.Where now?0
