Any IFA or discretinary fund manager can do this for you. The costs vary. Many will do the work at no additional cost as the natural fund based commission can cover the costs.
Looking at the FSA register, they appear to be a small family company with one authorised individual for investments (other two holding director authorisation only). No reason to think they cannot perform the services they are advertising.
Just be wary of costs. A new model IFA can do it as as low as 1% initial commission (transfers in zero initial) and 0.5% fund based commission to cover the 0.5% charge. The ones to avoid are those that charge up to 2% p.a. on top of that. Typically, these are the banks who also charge on switches as well (rip off).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
Thanks for your input. The letter arrived this morning just as I am in the process of a portfolio re-balance. I have posted the exercise on this thread but to date have not received a reply -no doubt you have seen it. Do you think it is too complicated or am I getting ahead of myself. I really enjoy the info, advice and banter on MSE.JD790

I have used Elson in the past. They were very good discount brokers and rebated commission. I assume they still do this. I had no complaints0
